Au trecut șase săptămâni de când Booth și Brennan s-au văzut ultima dată. Booth s-a recuperat după o intervenție chirurgicală pe creier, iar Brennan a fost într-o excavare în Guatemala. Psihica Angelinei, Avalon Harmonia, dezvăluie în timp ce citește cărțile de tarot ale Angelinei că există mai multe corpuri îngropate sub o fântână din Washington, DC. Angelina împărtășește informația cu Brennan și Booth, dar amândoi sunt puțin sceptici. Indiciul se dovedește a fi adevărat, iar cei doi descoperă rămășițele a 11 corpuri exact acolo unde psihica a spus că vor fi.
