Un important satelit al Centrului, numit Comstat Alpha, se prăbușește lângă un mic oraș din Kentucky numit Dingman's Hollow. Michael și Nikita sunt apoi trimiși într-o misiune de a-l recupera; prima misiune cu înlocuitorul lui Birkoff, Corman. Datele pe care le transportă, înainte de a cădea în mâinile greșite.
