După ce a văzut videoclipul Tasha (o nouă vedetă rock feminină) pe MTV, Fran decide să scrie propriile versuri despre nefericirea și suferința ei și să devină celebră în showbiz. Descurajată de domnul Sheffield, Fran decide să-i înmâneze versurile Tasha, indiferent de circumstanțe, și chiar se dă drept cameristă cu Val doar pentru a o întâlni pe Tasha. Când în sfârșit reușește, Tasha este atât de interesată să se conecteze și să asculte ce au de spus oamenii, încât petrece timp cu Fran.
