Joey este atacată și forțată să-și golească contul de către un hoț de stradă, care este accidentat de o mașină chiar după ce a jefuit-o pe Joey. Fata milostivă din Capeside rămâne alături de agresorul ei, verificându-l și încercând să cheme o ambulanță pentru a-l duce la spital, după ce observă asemănările dintre el și propriul ei tată. Când poliția și paramedicii sosesc, Joey leșină și este dusă la spital. După ce se recuperează, se întâlnește accidental cu soția și fiica înstrăinată a hoțului.
