Homer conduce efortul de a convinge fotbalul profesionist să aducă o nouă franciză în Springfield. Comisarul fotbalului, pe drumul său pentru a acorda oficial franciza, se oprește la casa Simpson, unde Bunicul (confundându-l cu un hoț) îl atacă.
